Ok, I’m not going to give too much lengthy introductionary anymore. I going to tell you that this LCD monitor is a Great! It’s totally awesome LCD that I’d never seen before.
I happened to crushed into this Samsung 226BW 22″ LCD monitor at my local monthly tech showroom. I’m totally agree with those reviewer who risking their authority to thumbs this LCD up! You will find out why below.
SAMSUNG 226BW 22″ LCD Monitor, covered in a cool black color with a shinny little silver line below the navigation panel, give a simple yet artistic effect which make me eagerly want to know more about this product.
With my benefit minded brain, I started asking about what this LCD could do for me, what is the benefit of this LCD for me?
I then started to collecting data and I finally finished compiling a short list of benefits that we can enjoy with this Samsung 226BW 22″ LCD:
- First, of course it’s about the screen size - 22″ Wide Screen View! You can enjoy watching DVD with a Television Size LCD monitor and you probably will never fell not enough space for designing anymore (if you are a designer).
Second, super fast Response Time - 2ms only! You can hardly see any ghosting on this LCD. Although some of the super-eyes users still can see some ghost effect, normal users would probably enjoy playing their game to the fullest.- Third, Extremely high Contrast Ratio - 3000:1! This is the first time I heard a contrast ratio this high. You may never able to set the property to the max since it will be too bright!
- Big Resolution of 1680 x 1050 - Designer, Animator, Composer, CAD-master, etc will love this LCD!
- 16:10 aspect ratio - 160 degree viewing angle - enable you to have a better view and multitasking easily.

Oke, there are still much more on the list such as the kensington lock slot to prevent theft, the tilt and swivel-able stand, the advanced dual interface DVI, and more.
Some of the pictures in this post is just a reference for you to add some artistic effect.
Samsung 226BW 22″ LCD only consume around 55W from the first start. So, it won’t make your bill bloated.
And last most important. This Samsung 226BW is Windows Vista Certified Hardware. You won’t have to worry it will incompatible with Vista anymore.
But guys, you must be careful. Never buy product without first read a testimonial from users who have bought this piece of LCD. Below is my small compilation of testimonial given by users who actually felt this product.

Well, it’s 22″ btw. Price always come along with the size and quality of the LCD. If you are not a designer or animator, there is no need to buy such a large LCD monitor.
If you want to have it for entertainment(watch video), go HDTV instead!
